Curly Maple Coffee Table
My first foray into furniture design and a wood shop. The table was built as my final project in a furniture design class at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
I was lucky enough to come across some magnificent curly maple and proceeded to design a piece that could really show off the wonderful grain. Small details such as height differences at the top of the legs invite the user in for a closer peak.
